Everyone needs a facelift once in a while, even my Devotion Necklace. For a while I have felt like I had fallen out of love with Devotion. And I make a strong effort to be in love with everything I create and pass on to others. Something had to be done before Valentines Day. So….I have done away with Devotion’s grandmotherly eyelet and chain and replaced it with a plain-run-of-the-mill piece of black twine. We are in love again.

What is it about a boab tree? Their bottle form, silvery skin, elegant limbs? or is it simply that they are bottom heavy and seem indifferent to the matter. I continue to be drawn by their magic.
